816 CD Malfunction S70

Thanks for the help guys. Here's what happened.

I went to the site and got the bay13 instructions. Took out my unit and opened it up as instructed to get to the little circuit board. My unit does not have that board (or at least not where shown in the fix). I looked inside for anything similar, but found none. My unit is an 816, but I noticed that on the side of the unit it had "RY-816" stenciled on it. Mine must be either newer or older than the one shown in the picture. Maybe it is because mine is actually a rebuilt one, replaced about 1-1/2 years ago.

I finally just disconnected the power (at the unit), and then reconnected. It acted like a reboot, and after putting in the code everything worked fine. The CD ejected and it is playing fine now. Probably a Microsoft related glitch.

All is well. Hopefully that is my Volvo failure for the next year. Of course I have 110,000 miles on the car with the original ABS module.
