Great to hear it runs like a top at 204k. There is a ton of info on this site on PCV system cleaning, and it is realy necesary to do it once in a while to avoid positive pressure that pops lots of things like the expensive rear main seal, let alone a cam seal. The system should have a vacuum, not positive pressure. There are several simple diagnostic tests to try with the engine idling and warm. One is to pull dipstick and see if there is any sort of light smoke or anything coming out of the tube. Another is to remove teh oil fill cap, and then set it lightly in place without turning it into teh retainer - it should be kept in place by the light suction of air being drawn into the opening. If it seems to rattle around or get pushed slightly away, it is a sign of positive pressure pushing air outward instead of sucking it in. I use a tissue of similar very light and soft paper - take off the oil cap and cover the hole with the tissue -it should be drawn down slightly, not pushed up, although there is usually a pulsing of the air flow that can be a little confusing when you first do it. If the tissue seems to float on teh air, it is positive pressure. Cleaning ranges from a fairly simple but awkward valve down behind the engine that clogs, to a very labor intensive replacement of main oil trap that is set behind the engine intake manifold.
