AC compressor squealing/squeaking 850 1996

Have a 96 850 Turbo, When I switch on the a/c the compressor makes a squealing noise, this then will go after 5 seconds or so. when i turn off the a/c on the ecc controls the noise stops.

mind you it has not been switched on for 3-4 months (being winter and all)- i figure it will go away the more i use a/c during spring/summer

can i just spray sum lubrication into the compressor or will that affect the clutch? Does anyone know where the bearings are on it? what should i do to avoid costly repair?
