ABS light stays on, tach stays off, trans lever does not move 850

This is happening intermittently. More often when I press on the brake pedal as I start our vehicle. The ABS light will stay on, the tachometer/speedometer do not function, the auto trans lever will only move when I press the override button on the side. I can drive the vehicle but more often than not I turn it off and restart it, then all is well again. The wife is breathing down my neck to fix this. Any ideas?
