S80 purchase advice needed (240, 940, 740 owner) S80

Ok S80 fans, jumping over hear from the rear wheel drive forums. I've owned 2 240's and currently own a 740 and 940. I've run across a really clean 2001 S80 for $10,000 with higher milage (80,000). It is burgundy with the larger custom wheels and dark grey leather. Absolutely no dings or scratches and interior nearly like new.

I've heard about problems with the electronics on earlier models. Is there truth to this or should I consider it? Thanks for any advice.
