driver's door speaker removal..... V70-XC70 1999

Working on a 99 V70 for a friend.

Rather than take a chance on breaking some fasteners, I'll ask first.
How do you removed the "clips" on the two upper brackets? It appears as though you just turn the red "screw head" 90% to remove, but it's not a quick release this way. Before I go using force, am I correct?
