Idling Problems 01 V70 T5 V70-XC70

Hello-
I've been so pleased with my indestructable 740 wagon (272k runs like a top) that, I thought Volvo knew what it took to make reliable cars. With this thought in mind I went out and bought an '01 V70 T5 automatic last week, and THEN did my research on the car. My fault, I know.... What I'm experiencing is after the car warms up, when braked at a traffic light. The car will start to lurch or surge, straining against the brakes. At first, I immediately suspected ETM, but over the last couple of days am wondering if it might be related to a brake booster issue, or torque converter issue. I feel the car but do not see a noticeable difference in the RPM Gauge, and it does not seem to happen when I switch the car into neutral. The engine mounts also need replacing, as I feel clunk (only one) when stopping or starting. Which ones tend to go bad? The top one and the one by the right tire(front)Thanks, Gene
