Here, this should help 850 1993

Tom,
Yes the '93's were much different. I know that most have an EGR system. Might be worth investigating this too. However, the oil trap or separator is different too. More of a triangular shaped box that sits under the intake manifold without the tube running to the top of the engine. I've seen diagrams of a square hole in the fuel rail that is used to enter under the intake manifold (or rather between the intake cylinders) with a long clothes hanger like devise to fit a new hose on the top of the oil separator to the flame trap (the the flametrap has a smaller hose running off of it to the vaccum tree). Evidently there was a a service bulletin on the crankcase ventilation hose (replacing it with a new type) from the flame trap (Service Campaign #59B) using a press tool that looks like a coat hanger (part#999 5549-4) that was inserted through the square opening to insall the new hose. Therefore there is apparently no need to take the intake manifold off unless changing out the oil separator. Instead of venting to the top of the engine the older oil separator vented sideways into the side of the engine with short hose(s). It may be worth asking your dealer's service department about your specific car's vent. system, or maybe someone here knows more than I do. I have added a diagram of this in the photo section here for you: http://www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/index.htm?uid=5490&pix_type=&js_link=&sort=&model=
HOpe this helps. MIJ
