Long cranking every morning solved 850

My 850 has been getting very bad lately. The cranking time has increased from 2 seconds to 10 seconds, but only when the engine is cold. I had guessed that the IAC was dirty - nope, clean. Throttle body dirty - nope, clean. Plugs, no. Even tried to look at the fuel system relay.
Then I decided to check the fuel pressure. What fuel pressure? I pushed on the schrader valve before trying to start the car and nothing. Zip. The FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR failed. It was slowly leaking pressure back into the gas tank. A new one is on order and will be installed next week.

Check this out:
When looking at the fuel system relay, which is over the radiator, I couldn't get the plug off. It must be fused. Close inspection found that 3 of the wires going into the plug had cracked insulation. I can see the copper! Today, I will wrap them with electrical tape if I can get my fingers in there.
