I have to agree. I had the "smell." I was also getting the anti-freeze sheen on the inside of the windshield. I took it to the dealer and they claimed a pinhole leak in something that didn't cost too much. Problem persisted and it was the core.

Not an expensive repair if you have someone do everything. I never had wet mats, etc. either.
