pollen filter V70-XC70

Ummm, if you're talking about adding an adapter for a filter like you have to do with an 850, not to worry, our S and V70's already have one. In fact, he would just be replacing his filter that's already in there. Also, rather than the dealer, I would buy the charcoal activated one from www.fcpgroton.com probably for about the same price as the one that's not (what the dealer offers). I would agree with you however, about cleaning the area out.

After the filter comes out, if may be worth looking down the fan shaft with a flashlight and if there is lent, etc. in there, using a vacuum cleaner and vacuuming out....some lysol spray in there isn't a bad idea either if you're having any odor at all in the cabin from the outside air.
