V70XCTowing V70-XC70 2001

I am looking at some boats this spring and before I make a plunge, I was wondering what some of you out there know about towing with the V70XC-especially boats. I have looked at the owner's manual, but I was wondering what real world feedback would be from you out there who have towed with the XC.
