Very quality part from autohausaz.com S70

Dave,

There is no such thing as OE. Car mfg's make ONLY engine and chassis (sometimes transmission). The rest comes from third party. As an example, I also have a BMW which uses the same suppliers as Volvo, VW, Audi etc.

- Bosch...ECU, spark plugs
- Mahle.... Pistons/rings
- Behr...Radiator, thermostat
- ZF...transmission
- Brake...ATE
- Mann....Air Filters, Cabin Filters.
etc. etc. and etc.

Now as an example: Behr radiator for my BMW:
- From autohausaz.com....$170.00
- From BMW dealer......$380.00 (EXACTLY the same but wers the BMW logo).

Volvo does the same trick, put a Volvo logo on a part made by 3rd party and make money.

So for 1/2 less money you can get EXACTLY the same part from a 3rd supplier.

In fact for the European market, GRAF, HEPU, GEBA, GK are all very reputable Water Pump makers. Sometimes, BMW switches back and forth between different suppliers, depending on who gives them a cheaper deal.

In summary:
1. you cannot go wrong with Hepu.

2. Cam + Crank shaft seals, consult a manual, but replacing it requires:
a. Cam and Crank removal tool such as:
http://www.sirtools.com/volvo.htm

b. Seal removal tool

c. Oil Seal Arbor, or a large socket same size as the seal(s)

Take not to damage sealing surface during removal. If you have not done it before, get some help from someone who knows the stuff.
