Chain-store service question

I would avoid any chain. Their mechanics are not very good and the most used tool they have is a hammer. Besides, they use generic parts made by the cheapest supplier they can find. There is NO guarentee on parts or labor, unless you pay extra for the insurance.
The next time your brake pads need replacing, replace the rotors at the same time. The dealer will charge you a small fortune to do 4 rotors and pads. An independent will charge less, but still a lot. If you change them yourself, it will cost less than $300 for OEM rotors and good quality pads.
We had a very novice lady on the board who changed her own serpentine belt in one hour! You are due for a timing belt at 152K and the S-belt could be changed at the same time. Find a good Volvo shop to do that for you.
Spark plugs should be changed at 30K intervals.
