Time for tires 850

If you're going to spend 400 bucks, I'd recommend a set of Michelin Pilot Exalto AS. Preferably from TireRack.com - if your repair shop mounts tires, that is - otherwise you're stuck w/ NTB or similar (but sometimes they'll come close to matching TireRack prices if you bargain a bit.

I just got them for both my XC70 and Saab 9000 and so far they're the best tires I've owned (inc. Pirelli, Conti, Mich MXV, Bridgestone, Yoko, Dunlop etc.) as far as wet/dry stickiness and ride comfort.

BTW, they replaced a set of Yoko AVSdBs on my Saab - the fronts had lasted a whole 10,000 miles or so.
