CAN / OBDII and 2005 V70 V70-XC70

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has seen any problems using an Innova 3110 OBDII scan tool to read the codes on a 2005 (or newer) V70 that is using the CAN protocol. I'm trying to reset the service indicator and connected up my 3110 tool, which worked great with my '97 850... but when I connected it up, it says that it's connecting, and reading the new CAN protocol, but then it fails to link to the car...

Anyone seen anything similar?.. The tool (according to the Equus site) should work
