bad vibration 850 1997

I have a strange vibration issue on my 97 855. Mother in law has been driving it for a few months and recently complained about vibration. Here's the summary:
No vibrations at lower speeds then as soon as I get it above 65, get a unusual humming noise, then vibration in the suspension. Doesn't seem to be affecting the steering. Apply the brakes at this speed and I get serious pulsing. When tires cold, no vibration, no pulsing until high speed. After that, get vibration at any speed, and brake pulsing. I know what bad rotors feel like, and this is seems like a combination of that and vibration without braking. I had the tires balanced again (only 4k on them), no change. I'm thinking possibly bad tire (rear?). I also pulled wheels and rotated. Can't tell a difference. Suspention components look OK, no obvious probs. Any recommendations on next step?
Thanks.
