S70 2nd'ary Air Pump Technical Question S70

Yes, a workin' pump is great considering Groton gets ~$300. for them and the dealer $400.+. Something else to try if it's wired the same as the 850's. Install it and leave it unpluged from its relay. Run a jumper wire from your battery down to it and apply 12v. You'll be able to hear it running on the car and maybe can tell if that's the noise you're hearing. I just replaced the pump/SAS valve on our 850. Don't know if it's possible to "clean" the SAS valve as it's sealed. My pump was full of water. I happened to check ebay and found a new pump for ~$140. I'll never be that lucky again.
