ABS light 850 1996

I've read the previous posts regarding the ABS light being on and it seems that the most common reasons are the ABS module itself and the ignition switch. I don't believe mine is coming on because of the ignition switch as my moving the key around has no effect andheadlights etc. still function.

One thing I have noticed, and I have not seen it mentioned here, is that if I turn the steering wheel sharply (to the stops) before the ABS system check (at 20 km/h) the light turns off during the check. It will eventually turn back on, but I'm wondering if this is a symptom of a problem other than the ABS module itself. I would think that turning the wheels would have no effect if it was the ABS module itself.

Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
