Where can I find the code for a check engine light 850

Hi and thanks to all who have responded to my previous posts. I've got two more questions I'm hoping I can get some help on. First, on a '95 850 GLT wagon, where can does the Code show up for a check engine light? I can't find that sucker anywhere! Also, many of you have warned about a leaky rear seal. Other than the car leaking oil, which could be from other causes, is there an easy way to determine if the rear seal is leaking? I've also read that, with bad seals, you won't actually find any any oil under the car because the oil is sitting on the bottom of the engine. Thanks for your help!
