850 Up Arrow 850 1993

I was getting error codes on my Volvo and got one about the throttle position sensor not giving a signal. I unplugged it and turned the car on to see if it had been working. The motor worked poorly, yet similiar to what it did before i unplugged it. When i went to plug it back in, there was the red up arrow on my instrument panel blinking. I googled this and it said some stuff about transmissions, but i havent done anything to the transmission. Is there something i can do to reset this light? The car runs fine but i dont think the throttle position sensor is either working or the car went into its emergancy ECU mode and isnt using the signals.
