Tripmeter, temp, etc not working after battery dis-connect

Hi,
My wife`s 850 was recently in our indie shop for some servicing & appearently, the battery was dis-connected at some point. Now I cant`seem to get the tripmeter, etc functioning. The clock works but on 24 hr time, no temp., etc.
I have tried the reset button as the manual says to do but no luck. What`s the solution here?
