CV Boot 850

Hard to say.... If it's split in multiple places it may have been split for a while and you may not have much grease left. If it's making noise when you turn then it's probably too late for just the boot and you'll need to replace the axle. Alot of people say just to replace the whole axle anyway rather than just the boot although I replaced both outer boots and they seem fine. Some people have had a tough time getting the axle out of the hub but mine came out pretty easy. Some have also had a tough time getting the axle out of the tranny. I replaced my boots with the axles on the car but it's a little tough on your back. You may want to search the FAQ's. There have been some really good instructional posts in the past. Get a good snapring removal tool. It really helps.
