sticky caliper 850 1996

Dan, Are these the original calipers? If so, after 10 years they might be on the way out. You can buy a rebuild kit which is basically just a piston seal and a dust boot for about $15-20 each side. Or eeuroparts.com sells remanufactured centric calipers for $40 each plus a refundable $50 core charge each. If you decide to order them, its a good idea to pay the $10 for fed-ex return label. Thay way when your done, you can just put your old calipers back in the box the new ones came in, tape it up, put the label on & drop it off at the closest fed-ex shipping center. But make sure you write down the receipt number at the top of the label in case they try to say they never got the cores back. Good luck, whichever way you decide to go.
