Front end shimmy 850 1995

In the last couple of weeks, my '95 850 wagon has developed a slight side to side shimmy or wobble in the front end. Basically the steering feels like there's a little sideways play--a feel that it hasn't had before. The wagon has 220k+ miles on it and has been regularly maintained. Any thoughts about what might be going on??
