Reset Service Light? V70-XC70

Hahahaha ... I'm laughing at myself ...

I just went out to my 1998 V70 AWD and tried this. Didn't work for me (you liekly aren't surprised). I think I need to get the 1% code reader which can do this for 1998s.

My check engine light comes on all the time and my mechanic "follows the codes" which never gets us anywhere. After my last visit, the check engine light was reset and I figured I'd have a few days of "dashboard bliss" with no lights ... and BLINK service light comes on at start up. 5k mile marker. Doh! Makes me chucke kinda.
