Engine ser/no question V70-XC70 1998

1) If I use the vin number of my car and do a look-up, it tells me that I have
2.4 L, 5 cyl engine. Now when I try and order parts for it, only 2.5,
and 2.3 L engines are listed. Do I have some type of "special",
unlisted engine ?
2) Where on the engine can I see it's serial number ?

3) Do I have hydraulic or mechanical timing belt tensioner ?
