burning rich? 850

my 850 sometimes has an odor of gas buring rich coming from the engine.. i think its the fuel injector, what a bout the cam sensor?.. i was going to have an emmission test run just to see what problems would come up and need to be fixed, becuase at this moment i do not think my 850 would pass the indiana or georgia emmissions, but i now live in a non-emmissions county.
