touch up paint and clear coat 850 1996

Hi Paul,
I've just treated myself to an 850 T5 auto, 1996 125,000. The registration document describes it as GLT and I wonder what the haracteristics of a GLT are? ie is it really a glt or merely misclassified?

I also need to do quite a lot of touching up (we have real nerds here in London whose favourite passtime is to run a key down your paintwork - great!). I bought the touhup Volvo two-tube set, but the brush is too wide and messes up... how do you do yours.

My other Volvo is an '88 240GLT auto saloon with only 145,000 on the clock.

My feeling is that the older car paintwork is FAR superior to the new car: what do you say?
Cheers from ol'england.
