Free at Last! S80

Do not lament the loss of your S80. The T6 engine coupled with Volvo's philosophy of "dealer only repairs", was the absolute low point of Volvo's reputation. Gone are the heady days of the 240 with it's break through safety designs. I too will not buy a newer Volvo, eventhough the prices are cheap. But I may still buy a 240 as a commuter car or general errand car. The seats can't be beat, and they are fairly easy to work on. I don't know if I could afford the asking price of a hybred. Besides, it is probably more environmental friendly to buy a used car than a new car... especially in my wallet!
