touch up paint and clear coat 850 1996

Not sure about model differences (maybe they depend on the export market).

I am just about to embark on some small bodywork projects on my old 240
(beige) and the 850 (white). I think the integrity of paint depends on a lot
of factors, one of which is color. In this regard, I try to buy white cars these
days because the color holds up well over time to sun, etc. But yes, my 82
has original paint that is oxidized but still looks way better than my
neighbors 2001 Jetta (if you want crappy factory paint, go for a Volkswagen,
at least that's my anecdotal conclusion).

Driving Volvos in England must cost a fortune.

Cheers from foggy California.
