suspension and steering issues 850

850 NA GLT 116K

I have records on my 850 going all the way back to mile 0, and none of the steering or suspension components on the front end have been replaced. The CV boots are not cracked, but the steering feels a bit loose. When turning tightly, it feels like the car has too much forward momentum (i.e., seems to skip a bit), but I'm not sure if this is due to the tire tread wearing pretty far. When I get the car on a lift, what should I pay particular attention to (e.g., ball joints, control arm, etc.)? And are these aftermarket parts from Groton satisfactory from your experience?

Thanks.
Paul
