REAR calipers: seizing versus frozen pins V70-XC70

Q: Has anyone had a seized REAR caliper? Or just simply stuck guide pin?

Symptom: - Intermittent grinding noise from REAR AFTER braking, i,.e, from stop light going at low speed like 10-20 mph. Grinding disappears after 30 seconds.

-REAR pads change at 48K miles in June 2004, car now at 75K.
-Visually checked pads, they are OK not worn.

The last time I serviced the REAR brake, I was careful in greasing the guide pins but I wonder is the caliper is seized now.
Seems early for seizing up because brake calipers typically last 12yr+ and 120K miles or so.

Anyway, I will check the REAR brake soon but would appreciate any opinion.
