Flame Trap & finding a really good P1800ES (no more Taurus!) 850

Hi.

REALLY excited about this place. Can someone walk me through the Flame trap service (general steps) on a 97 850? - Haynes is on the way but I'd like to know if I can do this under the shady tree in my front yard.

Also - despite the fact it's a southern car that's been VERY well cared for, I can no longer abide the 95 Taurus as my daily driver. You guys should know - where can I find a P1800ES with no rust? What should I really expect to pay (and still go home feeling like I got a deal?). What should I look for and what should I avoid.

Thanks.
