Did I make a mistake? S80

Answer to your question with another question: Why did Volvo stop importing the T6 engine? I would not stress the car by using full boost. If it doesn't have a tranny cooler, by all means, add one or two.
The engine bay is much too hot and all of the wires and plastic parts get cooked. Figure a way to introduce more air into the bay and a better way to get cold air to the turbo area. If the horns are still in front of the radiator, move them at once. Open the bottom holes of the air dam to let more air in, if that is possible. It is the heat that kills everything.
The electronic parts can only be replaced by a dealer, this includes dumb items like the window lifts! You and the dealer service department will get to know each other very well.

PS. Keep that 1992 240. If you invested $2850 in that car (half of the S80), it would be almost new!
