New V-70 2.5T-opinions please

Hello all,

My 97 855 GLT has provided me with one of the best car experiences I have had. For the last 9.5 years it has been reliable(OK a few problems but like a good woman, bearable), fun to drive and very durable.

It has 115K on the clock and looks great, but it is time to consider a replacement. I use the car in my business and it's time to send the 855 into the teenage driver pool or sell it. I am seriously considering a V-70 2.5T.
The prices are great right now, but how reliable and durable is this new car going to be compared to my old honey? I am not beholden to Volvo, but damn I love their seats with the long road trips I have to do for work.

Anyone out there have an opinion? Is a Volvo a 10 year car anymore? I rate my 91-745 at 20 years (only 88K so far) and my experience tells me that the 850/V70 series have a differnt set of benifits and liabilities that make them more capable but more costly to operate.

Bottom line, I don't want to get stuck with something as fun as a 99-S80. What a piece of junk.

Thanks,

Chuck
