replacing hoses on flame trap housing S70 1998

I now have approximately 2x oil loss, say 1 qt in 1000 miles.
Prior to cleaning out the flame trap area I had 10x oil loss.

On the flame trap holder there are three hoses
- 1 to the idle air pump
- 2 small vacuum house
- 3 larger tube
hoses 2 and three appear to run down under the intake
manifold. Does the bigger one go to the Oil Separator?
I have read the smaller hose goes to a nipple on the
intake manifold. Mine is limp or flaccid, and needs replacing
I believe

q: do I need to remove the manifold to replace the vacuum hose(2)
and to check if nipple is clear?
Thanks, Mark
