SRS system 850

Check the mylar strip for the airbag in your steering wheel. This caused us all kinds of issues until discovered and replaced. The piece reels in and out as you turn your steering wheel and is a weak link that will eventually tear all the way through. I suspect it is torn slightly and the wire that is enveloped by it is making contact sometimes and not at others, or a very slight contact giving you the flickering light...just a thought but would be easy to diagnose. Make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes before taking the steering wheel's center out as you don't want to get a "real" SRS light...then only the dealer can reset the light....don't forget that you'll need your radio code.
