Electrical Issue 850 1996

Problem: When I go to turn the car over, the key is in the II position the dash lights come on and a second later they go off and when I try to turn to position III(turn the car over) It just cranks. This is an intermitant problem, which at times doesn't have this problem. At times I can be driving and all of a sudden the whole car shuts down(power completly shuts off) and I end up stalling. Also I seem to be getting tremdous gas improvement. 340miles to the tank to 420 miles to the tank now. I did a OBDII diagnosis at autozone and it came back with two codes. 1)being the Mass Air Flow Leak, 2)being a Fuel Injection Sensor or something like that. These may not be the problem, I did the diagnosis two months ago. It's now to the point where my car just won't turn over. Any suggestions???"
