AC cabin temperature sensors 850 1994

I have the blinking ECC lights that I was able to reset after pulling a b2 code of 126 iirc. I vacumed out the sensor wells behind the grab handles and the drivers side probe fell out of place when I took the cap off. It appears the supporting wire was brittle and broke. Now I can't reset the code and I'm wondering if the broken sensor is the reason why? Also, can anyone tell me if the sensors are replaceable without pulling down the headliner?
