Cylinder misfire issue RESOLVED!! 850

Thank God for this guy here in Cynthiana who rebuilds Volvos. I went down there today expecting to buy a couple of used injectors to replace those in my car that were misfiring. He asked me what the problem was, and I told him the sordid details. He said that injectors are the last thing he would expect to be going bad, and told me that he sees a dozen 850's per month where the spark plug wire is crossfiring through the boot into the wall of the spark plug chamber. He pulled out my number 3 and 4 spark plug wires and wouldn't you know it? Both of them had holes burnt through them where the spark had been firing. He gave me a couple of used ones that were good for 20 bucks. I put them on right there and then took off down the road.

I am now back in turbopower land.

Keep this in the back of your mind if it ever happens to you.
