Klaus, thanks for your suggestions. I took my Volvo into the local dealership and they replace the Ignition switch as well as the throttle body sensor. With parts and labor it cost $447. They also check out my check engine light and found multiple problems, none of witch had anything to do with the MAF sensor??? The dealership told me that the OBDII error code reader device at Auto-Zone doesn't work on Volvos.
