Road Noises S80 2001

Most likely a bad wheel bearing assembly. When mine went bad, it sounded like very noisy tires. Mine went out at 90K miles but some owners have seen this as low as 70K miles. About $150 for parts for my S70, if you do it yourself. Instructions on how to replace it are at Bay 13. Hardest part is to guess which side has the problem unless it is obvious when you jack the car and rotate the wheels.
