Flasing arrow 850

Hello. I am new here.
Have 1994 Volvo 850 178000 miles. Got today flashing up arrow on dashboard and flashing "econ" light. Read the code : 3-3-2 and 3-2-3. Cleared. Arrow and codes came again. I know: it is "solenoid open or control module fault" and "lock up slips or is not engaged". But can you explain me what does it mean and what do you recommend to do. Had transmission fluid flushed on 158000 miles. Also I noticed ( but it happend long time ago )I dont have light under letters ( P,N,R,D...) on central console.
When I was searching this forum, the simplest things that can cause this I found: loose connections on tranny or WSE switch. What do you think ? Any help will be appreshiated. Thank you.
