Engine won't start 850

My 94 850 won't get started. It did get cracking but the engine wouldn't start. I had my friend using wire to jump the fuse box from #2 fuel pump and #13 hazard/headlite to see if any noise from the fuel pump. It did have small sound so he said the fuel pump should be fine. Then I don't know anything else to look for it after this. Anyone have any input for this? Thank you
