hood wont close 850

we've tried everything, moving latches up, moving the hood. one of our tire shops was dealt with the task once they are now taking on the task of this one. as of now, the rubber stops are out. all i have to ask is do the s60's and newer volvos use the same latching design? we might actually pick up an s70 to get me back to school, and mke this car i have now into an extra car, with extra time to fix!
