Replacing the key and the remote S70

It's very hard to go around the dealer for keys on most post-1996 cars. If it's any consolation I lost a key to my Ford and had to go to 2 dealers before finding one who was willing or able to provide a key. On my particular year and model the owner can program the key but the dealer worked hard to try to do it for extra $$$. This isn't true for some later cars. I used instructions I downloaded from the web and owner's manual. Fortunately I got away for $35 but no remote included in that price, just a key. Various independent web sites had contradicting stories on how to get keys for particular cars.
