Front Sway Links C70 2000

Took my C70 into the local Volvo for it's annual state inspection and they 'discovered' that the sway links were "worn".

..."worn" was not the word...the bottomm of the passenger-side sway link fell off of the ball joint when I turned the ratchet a few turns...!

The replacement sway links I purchsed from FCP are significantly heavier in construction than the two I replaced last night...~$25 each... It's an easy fix...jack and secure the car on jac-stands...remove the front wheels...remove the top & bottom nuts and replace with the new sway link and tighten the hardware...reinstall the wheels... All completed in unde an hour at best... for under ~ $50. Volvo quoted $225...!

One note...be careful around the ABS lines to the hubs...
