Need advice on buying a V70 V70-XC70

Hello,

Time to retire our 245 and move up to a V70. Any suggestions on what to look for/avoid? We're looking at 1998-2000 models with the third seat.

Is the XC as dependable as a non XC?

What about a turbo? Any extra maintenance? Is it as dependable as a non turbo?

Any and all suggestions are much appreciated.
