Right rear wheel ABS sensor 850 1993

About a month ago on a really hot day and while slamming on the brakes, my abs light came on, on my 93 850. Pulled codes and it is 314. right rear wheel sensor, open or short circuit. Removed wheel sensor plug, dusted off and di-electric greased it. Plugged it back in and it won't clear the code. While doing a brake job a couple days ago, I tried to remove the sensor but it is stuck in there good. Probably because it has been in there for 311k miles. So I left it in there, after I removed the rotor, I was able to gain access to the sensor and cleaned it up, including all the little teeth it reads. Still, can't clear the code. I assume that means the sensor is bad. So here is my question: if the original sensor made it to 311k, is a junk yard sensor just fine? I am getting poor and already have a list of things to replace. Does anyone know that the resistance should be across the sensor at 80deg F.

Thanks,

Jeff
